Starry Night for string quintet (2011)

“Starry Night” (2011) for string quintet (string quartet + bass) was premiered by the Sybarite5 as part of their collaboration with student composers at the New College of Florida. The piece reflects on a moment looking up at the stars and finding closeness with loved ones over great distances. The piece won Sybarite5’s “New Music Idol” competition in Sarasota, FL.
